I love classical music, I really do. Although I think a lot of people say they like classical music but never really listen to it. Granted I have a hard time listening to any music it seems lately because I’m usually listening to podcasts whenever I have my iPhone or iPod on (yes, my iPod is slowly being phased out, but I need an iPhone with more space before that will completely happen). While it’s nice that people at least say they like classical music, and are thus supporting it, it’s still hard to get them to turn off the latest top 40 hit or 80s legend and listen to some Chopin.

This ad does just that, capture the view by visualizing the excitement that is in classical music. For a visual vaudevillian like myself I think this 55-second online spot works. At it’s opening it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be doing much of anything exciting, but it quickly grasps the viewers attention as it turns into a roller coaster ride of written music perfectly in sync with the audio.

By Euro RSCG Zurich to promote the Zurich Chamber Orchestra online, I think this spot would do well in front of films at local cinemas in Zurich because of its size. Just like the Death Star trench run was so exciting on the big screen, this spot would be even more of a thrill ride at that size. What do you guys think?
