About
Ben Franklin said that people die when they turn 22 years old. Why? Because that’s around the age that people graduate from college, fall into the workforce and stop dreaming. I’d like to think I’m proving Mr. Franklin wrong – with all due respect, of course. : ) My name is Will Lenzen Jr and am currently living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have been called a “Renaissance Man” and a “Jack of All Trades” in my past because I tend to be interested in a lot of things. Be it architecture, design, music, theater, filmmaking, art, technology, the web, culture, (a particular selection of) sports, traveling, language, literature, and – of course – strategic communications, the one thing that is a constant in my life is creativity. I apply it to nearly all aspects of my life and thrive off of it. I live life without regrets and that means, for me, taking time to indulge in what I’m interested in and learn as much as I can (within reason & good time management).
Being an active social member of the Internet, as well as trying to be part of the tech bubble, in Cedar Rapids is a challenge (there are times when I feel like some people here are still in 1998…). So I do what I can to help represent the area well, and introduce as many people to the Internet beyond Facebook and MySpace as I can.
As a freelance new and social media advertiser I am totally enthralled by the online landscape that we are all playing in these days and love participating in its constant evolution. I want to help you and your clients utilize the Internet with ease, understanding and creativity. There are effective ways to utilize your dollars to get great results out of a media message with a holistic approach. Drop me a line and let’s talk about how I can help you.
Life for me has been filled with various ups and downs, as can be expected. I’ve lived in Spain, China and various cities in the United States, but have never really bothered to document any of it. This blog will do just that, provide a lens into my wide array of thoughts and work in advertising, filmmaking and technology. Please feel free to leave comments or email me to let me know what you think.
